Who can we help? Home owners and private tenants aged 60 or over or disabled and over 50. The labour involved is free of charge, you will just pay for any materials used.

What can we do? Emphasis is on safety and security in the home. We can undertake a wide range of small repairs in the home. For a list of typical jobs we can undertake click on the 'Types of Jobs' button to the right.

How does it work? Just click for Live Help or give us a call on 01620 828445, we will arrange a mutually suitable date and time for the visit. Some types of work may require an initial assessment visit; this will be arranged at the same time.

The usual leadtime for a visit is around 4 - 6 weeks. However, you will be able to use the service again on an on-going basis. We reserve the right to give priority to the most vulnerable of our clients.

Our Small Repairs Officers carry identification cards, so you will know it is one of them at the door when they call. Typically, jobs are allocated up to 2 hours for the work to be undertaken, if further work is required, another appointment will be made.

Once the job is completed, you will be invoiced for the cost of any materials used, the labour for the service is free of charge.

What we are not able to do: We are unable to undertake plumbing, decorating or gardening work.
