Care & Repair East Lothian offers a service to older and disabled people who are home owners or private tenants who need help and advice on financing and carrying out housing improvements, repairs and maintenance and/or adaptations such as wet floor showers, stairlifts and ramps

Our service is confidential and free of charge

Repairs

We offer a free and confidential service if you need advice and/or help in carrying out repairs and maintenance to your home.

How can Care & Repair assist?

We can:

Visit you to discuss and offer advice on repairs and maintenance to your home
Help you find suitable contractors to do the work
Provide advice and support throughout the work, including liaising with the contractor and others
Direct you to other sources of help, if needed

What we are not able to do:

We are not able to fund or carry out actual works ourselves
