Small Repairs Service Statement

East Lothian Council previously provided funding to Care and Repair East Lothian to provide a non-statutory Small Repairs Service to homeowners and private tenants. This included fitting handrails and key safes.  

A reduction in funding to Care & Repair was agreed in the Council’s 2024/25 budget as part of work to reduce their funding gap. This unfortunately meant that the Small Repairs Service came to an end on 31 March 2025.
